I just finished up on a pre-release of the next version of RadioOff. This version works completely different the the previous releases and should consume fewer resources and battery power while running. If you've not tried RadioOff in the past, basically it turns off & on the cellular radio and a specified in an effort to conserve power. I found the utility to be particularly useful for my Blackjack, which normally wouldn't be able to go overnight w/o charging. The new version should work on all Windows Mobile 5/6 devices, however it has been optimized for Windows Smartphone, so PPC users may find the interface hard to navigate.

I've release a small utility for Windows Mobile powered phones that will log all missed and completed phone calls to the standard outlook calendar. This utility generally useful if you need to log your phone calls for billing purposes or if you want to keep a longer history of your phone log. Any questions or comments are welcome.

I'm releasing this early version of MobileConfig so I can get some feedback from users that are using different WM devices. If you can, please download v1.3 below and test it out on your device. If you see any problems with the application please post your findings in the comments below and be sure to include what device you are using and any hacks or 3rd party apps that may be conflicting with MobileConfig.

I've added several more tweaks to the beta XML file that need testing. Visit the beta site and download the config file or follow the instruction to update your device over the air. There are now over 35 tweaks available and I still have another 20 or so I plan to add after I confirm they work....so keep checking for updates.

I just finish writing a little utility to help users maintain, build, & modify the MobileConfig configuration files. The output of the MobileConfig Builder (MCB) is designed for MobileConfig v1.1 ONLY, so the xml files will NOT work with the current public release of MobileConfig. I should have a beta of v1.1 posted on my site within the next couple of days, until then feel free to use MCB to build/modify a configuration file.
Warning: MCB is not a user-friendly application and a decent amount of knowledge about the Windows Mobile registry is required to use this application. Entering in incorrect information or wrong values can damage your (or others') Windows Mobile device.
Note: The xml output will default to the MCB installation path in a file called mobileconfig.xml. This is the default file that the mobile application will read.
Note: MCB is designed to allow end-users to add most types of registry entries to the MobileConfig configuration file. There are some more advanced options that the desktop application does not current support and may require the end-user to directly modify the XML file, if you do so MCB may not be able to edit the file.
Note: The registry settings that MCB and MobileConfig ship with have been designed for and test with the Samsung Blackjack. These values may not work on all Windows Mobile devices and may not work on all versions of the Blackjack. Some settings may not apply to some devices, others are located in different sub keys. I'm working on adding device id and software version information to each key so that users can define device specific values. If you want to help me out with this effort please email me.

I wrote a little utility that will easily allow a user to connect a SQL 2005 database and maintain the MS_Description extended property of most of the user created objects. This is helpful if you're using a 3rd party utilty to generate your DB documentation and/or ERD.
I'm still adding features to the app and I hope to eventually have dump some basic HTML documentation of your database and allow you display & maintain relationships and other properties.

Requirements & Installation
You need to have the .Net 2.0 Framework installed and have access to a SQL 2005 Server database where you have permission to read the extended properties.

I recently purchased a Samsung Blackjack and have been playing around with the theme engine built into Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone. The theme below requires no special plugins and should work on the Motorola Q and Samsung Blackjack. It was derived off of the Just Black theme found at KOOLdezine Themes and can easily be modified to add additional plugins and change the layout.
